CINCINNATI — The 49ers reportedly have a deal done with wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk. ESPN’s Adam Schefter first reported the four-year extension worth $120 million with $76 million in guarantees.
NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo had the contract details shortly after Schefter’s announcement.
Aiyuk’s hold-in wraps after 38 days and leaves Ja’Marr Chase as the lone star receiver eligible for a new deal without one. Chase practiced twice in recent days but did not suit up for Wednesday and Thursday’s session.
Cincinnati’s leadership has been adamant they want to get a deal done with their top playmaker, but it might not happen before the team battles New England next week. All of the $100-plus million wide receiver deals signed this offseason have been for four years.
