Aime Leon Dore and New Balance have recently teamed up with Bukayo Saka to promote their brand-new “Made in UK” campaign. Accompanying prominent football players such as Kylian Mbappé and Jack Grealish who have lately ventured into the fashion sector, the English and Arsenal beauty highlighted the newest offerings of simple, everyday wear for SS22 on Aimé Leon Dore’s Instagram.
The two recently released MIU 991 silhouettes’ autumnal colour schemes served as the inspiration for the larger collection, which features a variety of football-themed clothing items, two of which are co-branded football jerseys. The jerseys come in two colourways: one in navy and the other in a green and white hoop design inspired by the Celtics. The kit sponsor, ‘ALD,’ is prominently displayed on both shirts. A custom club crest and the New Balance manufacturer logo are added embellishments to the parts on the chest. The collection also features a number of essential items, including polos, shorts, parka jackets, socks and caps. These items come in tones of blue, olive, beige and ecru. Two additional club scarves and a co-branded kit bag further enhance the campaign’s evident football theme.
