Jayson Tatum has had an action-packed summer, with adventures from Paris to St. Louis and more.
His latest stop is China, where he participated in the China Family Tour via Jordan Brand.
Tatum joined fellow NBA stars Luka Doncic, Zion Williamson, and Paolo Banchero in Shanghai and Beijing.
Tatum posted many photos from the adventure, with the caption: “St. Louis to China, with love.”
Per a release from Jordan Brand: “This groundbreaking tour is more than just a series of events; it’s a significant cultural experience aimed at connecting Jordan Brand athletes with the youth of China.”
The release states: “This tour represents a historic moment as these athletes bring the essence of Jordan Brand to China, emphasizing our dedication to growing the game and culture that Michael Jordan made global.”
A super fan, who has been following Tatum ever since he entered the NBA, was gifted a pair of the all-new Tatum 3s by Tatum himself. Tatum also inserted his handprint onto the Jordan store wall, and the store gifted him a piece of traditional Chinese artwork that featured “What they gonna say now?” and an image of Tatum and his son, Deuce.
They then traversed the Great Wall of China on Saturday. The location they walked is in very close proximity to the steps that Michael Jordan walked in 2004.
To cap off the day, the Jordan Family surprised kids at a basketball camp to play various competitions with them.
