Raheem Sterling gets paid the highest of all the players at Arsenal for the 2024–25 season, while a surprising vital player received a very modest salary

Raheem Sterling is the highest paid player at Arsenal, whose salary for the 2024–25 campaign was made public.

The loanee from Chelsea earns £325,000 per week

After losing to Manchester City by a mere two points in the previous season, the Gunners will be itching to improve upon their performance in the Premier League this year.

Throughout the summer transfer window, Mikel Arteta added a number of fresh players to bolster his team.

After spending a combined £70 million, Riccardo Calafiori and Mikel Merino joined, while David Raya decided to make his loan move from Brentford permanent.

Raya’s backup goalie, Neto, replaced Aaron Ramsdale, who was leaving for Southampton.

However, the Premier League was rocked when Sterling was signed on a deadline day loan from Chelsea.

The 29-year-old Sterling was kicked out of first-team practice by new Blues manager Enzo Maresca.

However, Arteta intervened to provide the winger with a way out, bringing him back together with the player he collaborated with at Manchester City.

Gabriel Jesus' contract is worth £265,000 per week

With his Chelsea contract, Sterling makes an incredible £325,000 a week.

Additionally, he became the highest paid player as soon as he arrived at the Emirates.

Thomas Partey, at £200,000, rounds out the top five, followed by Gabriel Jesus (£265,000), Declan Rice, and captain Martin Odegaard (both £240,000).

Bukayo Saka outmakes people like William Saliba (£190,000), Gabriel Martinelli (£180,000), and Ben White (£150,000) with his weekly salary of £195,000.

Calafiori, the new Italian defender, is reportedly paid £120,000 per week, while Merino, another summer addition, is reportedly paid roughly £90,000, which is also the salary of Leandro Trossard and Jurrien Timber.

With a salary of £85,000, Raya is surprisingly among the lowest paid players.

Only Jakud Kiwior (£58,000) and Neto (£50,000) are higher with that amount.

Arsenal have a tricky start to the season

Emile Smith Rowe and Eddie Nketiah, two academy grads, both left the team in high-profile departures.

A number of players left on loan: Reiss Nelson, Karl Hein, Fabio Vieira, Nuno Tavares, Albert Sambi Lokonga, Marquinhos, and Smith Rowe at Fulham, where he joined former Gunners players Alex Iwobi and Bernd Leno.

Declan Rice and Martin Odegaard are on £240,000 per week, with Thomas Partey on £200,000Kai Havertz's wages are £280,000 per week at the Emirates

The Premier League’s highest earners are still well behind Arsenal’s players; Kevin De Bruyne leads the way with a weekly salary of £400,00, ahead of Erling Haaland, who plays for Manchester City and makes £375,000.
