Cybertruck has drawn the attention of celebrities, featured in music videos, and is now being showcased in a new advertisement from a beer company backed by Travis and Jason Kelce, leveraging the truck’s strong brand recognition.

What Happened: A new video shared on social media from Garage Beer shows former NFL players Jason Kelce and Beau Allen washing a Cybertruck.

The post, which has been viewed over 600,000 on X, features Kelce and Allen upset that low water pressure is going to make washing the Cybertruck take forever.

What happens next is beer, specifically Garage Beer, helping make the process of washing the Cybertruck take less time and the water pressure to magically improve.

The ad, which some may view as the male version of a bikini car wash, features Allen and Kelce playfully taking off their shirts and washing the Cybertruck in a somewhat seductive manner.

“Just two guys washing a car,” Kelce tweetedabout the ad.

The video features “Gimme All Your Lovin'” by ZZ Top playing in the background.

“Garage Beer makes everything better,” the Ohio-based beer company tweeted.

While Tesla CEO Elon Musk envisioned the Cybertruck as something Blade Runner might drive, he likely never anticipated it being featured in a beer ad alongside several shirtless former NFL players to help sell beer.

Kelce, who retired from the Eagles in March, played 13 seasons all with the Philadelphia Eagles where he put together a Hall of Fame worthy career. Allen is a former NFL defensive tackle who played for the Eagles from 2014 to 2017 and also played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and New England Patriots.

Kelce, one half of the famous Kelce brothers alongside current NFL star Travis Kelce, co-hosts the popular “New Heights” podcast. The duo recently secured a lucrative deal with Amazon.

Why It’s Important: The older Kelce brother and retired NFL star owns a Cybertruck that has gone viral thanks a bumper sticker that features a cartoon version of Benjamin Franklin peeing on the Dallas Cowboys logo. The sticker, which likely reminds many of the “Calvin and Hobbes” stickers of Calvin peeing on random logos, plays out the NFL rivalry between the Eagles and Cowboys.

In June, Garage Beer and the Kelce brothers announced they were teaming up with the NFL players becoming owners and operators and the “largest investors” in the Ohio-based beer company.

The Kelce brothers said they wanted to partner with a brand that was fun and “embodies the spirit of a neighborhood feel.” I think most watching the ad would see some level of fun for the beer company.

The partnership announcement revealed that the Kelce brothers would be involved in all aspects of Garage Beer, from brewing to sales and also marketing. However, there’s no mention of who conceived the idea for the video or why Travis Kelce wasn’t included.

“People crave quality and simplicity, and Garage Beer nails both for me. We are light beer drinkers and Garage is the best light beer,” Jason Kelce said.

The new beer ad follows hard seltzer company Happy Dad introducing a fleet lineup of Cybertruck vehicles with customized wraps with company logos for the business’s operations, which have attracted positive reactions from Musk.

The Cybertruck has become a celebrity fashion accessory of some degree with Big Sean, Steve Aoki, Alexis Ohanian, Jay-Z, Beyonce, Kim Kardashian, Lady Gaga, Pharrell Williams and Justin Bieber among the owners of the new Tesla pickup truck.

Another potentially less fortunate use case was found for a Cybertruck overseas. Chechnya leader Ramzan Kadyrov shared pictures of a Cybertruck on social media that appeared to have a machine gun attached to the exterior. The Vladimir Putin ally said the vehicle would benefit the war effort against Ukraine.
