Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens didn’t have the start to their 2024 campaign that they wanted, as they suffered a hard-fought 27-20 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs on Thursday Night Football.
Jackson put together a stellar performance (26/41, 273 YDS, 1 TD, 16 CAR, 122 YDS), but it wasn’t enough to lead the Ravens to victory.
As a result, the superstar quarterback probably hasn’t been in a super great mood over the past few days. However, that didn’t stop him from helping out one of his friends in popular hip-hop artist Lil Baby, as he sent his son a heartwarming birthday message that quickly made the rounds on social media.
This is a pretty awesome move from Jackson considering Lil Baby threw an NFL-themed birthday party for his son, with fellow Ravens teammates Derrick Henry and Zay Flowers also sending over messages.
And even though they are busy recovering from their loss to the Chiefs, while also preparing for their upcoming game against the Las Vegas Raiders, Jackson and company found time to help out one of their friends in Lil Baby.
While this is great to see, fans are going to be worrying about Jackson after he wasn’t present for the Ravens latest practice on Monday, and it’s safe to say that his status bears watching over the next few days.
