Saka’s description of herself at a speed dating event
“I’m twenty-one years old.” As an Arsenal player, I am. I’ve been going to that club for a long time. I’m someone who likes love and happiness, and I love sports. It’s important to me to be smart and have fun.

“Football?” That’s something I’ve known since I was a kid. As soon as I heard about this game, I fell in love with it. I still love it too. The neighborhood in front of my house was gated and made up of houses in a circle. In the middle, there was only a green field. It wasn’t a football pitch, but that’s how we turned it into one. Everyone went to have fun. The neighborhood kids and I met there after school to play until our parents called us to eat dinner and take a shower. After that, go to bed. The next day, school began. We did it again!
