Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed that Manchester City is considering selling Joao Cancelo this summer.
Specifically, Romano informed: “Al Hilal has reached a verbal agreement with Manchester City about Joao Cancelo.
The transfer fee is around 25 million euros, the agreement between the clubs has been done.
Now it is up to Joao Cancelo and the player to decide. Al Hilal have offered Cancelo a deal worth €15 million net salary per season.
Cancelo will make a decision soon .”
Cancelo is about to leave Man City.
Cancelo fell out with manager Pep Guardiola during the 2022/23 season, leading to the defender being loaned out to Bayern Munich.
After his loan deal ended, Cancelo joined the Catalan giants on a season-long loan and made an immediate impression.
Cancelo has since returned to training at Manchester City’s pre-season camp, but has no future at the Etihad Stadium. So, Cancelo is on his way out of the Etihad once again.
