Rafael Nadal fondly revisited Tiger Woods winning the 2018 Tour Championships, thereby ending a five-year victory drought. Notably, this was his 80th PGA Tour victory. Since then, the American has added two more victories and is now tied with the record-holder Sam Snead.

Nadal is also a golf aficionado himself and is often seen practicing the sport during his time-off. He won the Balearic Mid-Amateur Golf Championship in February 2024.

Recently, he revisited Woods’ iconic 2018 Tour Championships victory. A huge crowd joined Woods on his walk up to the 18th green after his second shot. The thousands of fans joining the golfer left him emotional, by his own admission.

Rafael Nadal took to his Instagram story to share the post by PGA Tour.

In doubles, he paired with Carlos Alcaraz and defeated Argentines Andres Molteni and Maximo Gonzalez in the first round. In the second round, they knocked off the Dutch pair of Tallon Griekspoor and Wesley Koolhof. However, they were defeated by Austin Krajicek and Rajeev Ram of the USA in the quarterfinals.
