The Miami Dolphins could not get anything going against the Buffalo Bills on Thursday Night Football. The Bills jumped to a multiple-score lead early on and held on to it until the end despite being the underdogs. Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa was the talk of the night, however, as he suffered a scary head injury in the late third quarter that caused him to miss the rest of the game.

The veteran quarterback ran for a first down near the goal line and led his head into the safety, Damar Hamlin, causing a massive collision and leading to him being taken out of the game. The official status of his injury is a concussion, something Tagovailoa is unfortunately all too familiar with.
Tua has had a lot of concussion throughout his career, which has caused many to doubt that he will have a long future in the NFL. The veteran signed a massive contract this offseason worth $212.4 million, which is the largest contract for a Dolphin in franchise history. However, after tonight’s injury, several fans and analysts are unsure if he will be able to continue playing.
Career with Miami Dolphins

Tagovailoa has progressed well throughout his career with Miami since being drafted in 2020. The quarterback has amounted to 12,977 passing yards with 82 touchdowns, and has been statistically better in every season he has played. He was an MVP candidate last season after achieving career highs in passsing yards (4,624) and touchdowns (29).
While we are still unsure of the severity of the concussion, the injury certainly did not look like a small matter, and it will be a situation monitored closely throughout the week. Do you think Tagovailoa will be able to play again?
