Tyler Glasnow suffered a “setback’ in his injury rehab on Friday, according to Los Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts.

The Dodgers right-hander was warming up for a simulated game when he felt discomfort in his elbow, and the team cut his throwing short, per The Athletic‘s Fabian Ardaya.

Glasnow has been on the 15-day injured list since Aug. 16 with right elbow tendinitis.

After acquiring the 31-year-old from the Tampa Bay Rays in the off-season, the Dodgers have gotten elite production from Glasnow, but this is his second stint on the injured list this season.

Los Angeles signed Glasnow to a five-year, $136.56-million extension after the trade.

He returned from his first injury on July 24 and made four starts before the tendinitis forced him out again.

Glasnow has pitched to a 3.49 ERA over 134.0 innings for the Dodgers in 2024 while racking up 168 strikeouts. He earned his first All-Star nod earlier in the summer for his efforts.

As Los Angeles gears up for the post-season — it enters play Friday atop the NL West with an 87-59 record — it is looking to return some of its top arms from the injured list.

Yoshinobu Yamamoto recently returned to the rotation, but the Dodgers are still missing the likes of Glasnow, Clayton Kershaw and Gavin Stone, among others who have been injured this season.
