Official images of LeBron James’ first signature training sneakers with Nike were released on Sunday.
The Los Angeles Lakers superstar also reposted the images of the shoes on his X account, which are expected to release in the fall.
The latest announcement of his signature training shoe with Nike continues an eventful summer for James, who’s coming off a gold medal victory as a member of the U.S. men’s national team in the Paris Olympics.
James debuted the shoes prior to Team USA’s exhibition match against Canada in July, showcasing the Nike LeBron TR 1 in a United States colorway.
According to Complex’s Brandon Richard, three colorways of the model have been confirmed. Sunday’s images focus on the “Light Smoke Grey” colorway, with “Black” and “Volt” featured in the remaining two models.
James also gave fans the first look at his upcoming Nike LeBron 22 sneakers during the Paris Games.
James has been one of Nike’s featured athletes throughout his storied career, signing a lifetime deal with the company in Dec. 2015. He earns an estimated $32 million annually from Nike, per Forbes’ Justin Birnbaum.
The NBA’s all-time leading scorer will be returning to the Lakers next season after agreeing to a two-year, $101.4 million contract with the organization on July 6.
James hasn’t shown many signs of slowing down, as the 39-year-old averaged 25.7 points and 8.3 assists per game while shooting 54.0 percent from the field and 41.0 percent from three during his 2023-24 campaign.
The four-time MVP, alongside Anthony Davis, will attempt to help Los Angeles bounce back from a disappointing first-round playoff loss.
