The Miami Dolphins were tasked with trimming the roster down to 53 players by Tuesday afternoon.

The Miami Dolphins have announced the initial 53-man roster ahead of next week’s matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars. While the team carried 90 players through much of the offseason, it’s worth noting that roster changes are expected as the NFL season unfolds.
